Vision

Restored with meticulous care and a profound commitment to preserving its original grandeur, this historic Queen Anne now serves as the home for Global Warranty in the heart of the city. With fence plans in place, the new landscape project aimed to align with the building’s historical charm, enhance curb appeal, clearly delineate public and private spaces, and provide visually appealing screening for adjacent offices.

To harmonize the century-old home's grand staircase and entrance with the existing walkway, an expansive welcome area bordered by mortared natural stone was added at the base of the wide, hammered Indiana sandstone steps.

To add visual depth and anchor the magnificent building within its surrounding landscape, the design called for symmetrical, deeper planting beds, featuring the structured elegance of Boxwood hedges and flowering deciduous shrubs. Columnar deciduous trees echo the towering columns and are strategically placed to frame views of the front entrance.

Facing the neighboring office property's outdoor living spaces, a green screen of Japanese Maples, Yews, and Cedars contains Global Warranty office views within the property. Simultaneously, it provides a sense of privacy for both properties.
